MEet Aroha Pehi, (Taribelang, Kuku-Yalanji, Ngapuhi and Ngatiporou )

Admin and Projects Assistant

Aroha Pehi a proud Taribelang, Kuku-Yalanji, Ngapuhi and Ngatiporou woman from South-East Queensland. Graduated NAISDA Dance College with her Diploma in Professional Dance Performance in 2018, she has gone on to pursue her career in the Independent Arts scene. 

Co-founding Lost All Sorts Collective with her fellow graduating peers. Lost All Sorts Collective was created to tell the stories and political issues of young First Nations people. Aroha also is a member of Jannawi Dance Clan, a cultural and contemporary dance company. She is a part of the new work-in-development of  ‘Garrigarang Badu’.

She also joined Dance Makers Collective for their work of ‘The Rivoli’, which toured nationally in 2022 and will tour in 2023.

Aroha has a strong passion for furthering her knowledge in First Nations stories and arts.
