To help ensure the safety of our people and community amidst the spread of COVID-19, Moogahlin Performing Arts regretfully advises that we are postponing the upcoming Baiame’s Ngunnhu Festival, scheduled for 17-19 April 2020 in Brewarrina NSW.

We will be working with our partners and collaborators in Brewarrina to reschedule the Festival to the latter half of the year, and to launch a series of workshops leading up to the newly timed Festival that will contribute a whole new level of art and creativity to this community celebration.

We are also closing our office at Carriageworks, Sydney, and working from home until further notice. We will be working as usual, and we encourage you to get in contact by email: https://www.moogahlin.org/contact

In the meantime, we know it’s no time to moogahl about when it comes to health and community care. Please take care of yourselves and others during this time, and look out for our Elders who could be more at risk either of infection or of isolation & lack of resources. Regular health updates are available from: https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert

We’re also following NACCHO Community Health News Corona Virus Page for specific updates: https://nacchocommunique.com/category/corona-virus/

We encourage all our mob to continue to wash hands, respect our Elders, only use what we need & leave some for others.

With love from the Moogs.
